This is proper Cantonese roast pork belly, known as siu yuk, the kind you’ll often see hanging in the windows of Chinatown roast meat shops. Deeply savoury, aromatic, and built around that perfect contrast of tender meat and crisp pork.

What makes this special is that all the work has already been done. The pork belly is fully cooked and vacuum packed, so all you need to do is finish it at home to bring the crackling back to life.

We start with high-quality British pork belly, selected for the right balance of meat and fat, then slow-cook and season it properly with Chinese five spice, fermented bean curd, and a carefully balanced blend of additional ingredients that give the pork its signature depth and warmth.

It’s authentic, rich in flavour, and incredibly easy to prepare.

George’s Tip for Cooking:
Take it straight from the fridge, out of the vac pack, and into the air fryer at around 200°C for 25-30 minutes until the skin crisps up beautifully. Slice and serve however you like. It works brilliantly as a traditional roast centrepiece, sliced as an accompaniment alongside other dishes, or served the classic way over ramen, rice, or stir-fried noodles.
