Grass-Fed Butterflied Leg of Lamb – Mint Marinated
Approx. 3kg
This is a proper crowd-pleasing cut. A whole leg of grass-fed British lamb, butterflied for even cooking and marinated with mint to complement the natural sweetness of the meat, not overpower it.
Each leg is hung on the bone for up to 7 days to deepen flavour, then hand-trimmed by skilled butchers to give you lean, juicy meat with real character. Grass-fed lamb delivers a richer taste and a better balance of natural fats, along with higher levels of vitamins and minerals from a natural diet.
Provenance:
Grass-fed British lamb from small-scale farms in Dorset and Wiltshire.
Why it’s good:
Butterflied for quick, even cooking, full of flavour, and ideal for barbecues, grills, or roasting flat in the oven.
How to cook:
Cook hot and fast. Perfect for the BBQ or a roasting tray, finished with a good rest before carving.
George’s Tip for Cooking:
Get it out of the fridge early, cook over high heat until nicely charred on the outside and just pink inside, then rest well. Slice across the grain and serve simply. The lamb does the talking.
