A proper Gigot steak is cut thick from the leg of lamb and delivers everything people love about lamb in one impressive piece. Lean, full of flavour, and beautifully tender when cooked right, this is a serious steak that comfortably feeds two.

Our lamb is grass-fed British lamb, raised on natural pasture and butchered properly to retain flavour and texture. The result is a steak with deep character and a clean, rich taste that stands up brilliantly to simple seasoning and high heat.

Gigot steaks are ideal when you want something a little different from the usual lamb chops or roasts. They cook quickly but still feel like a proper centrepiece.

Why it’s good:
Thick-cut from the leg, naturally lean, and packed with flavour. Perfect for grilling, pan-searing, or the BBQ.

How to cook:
Best cooked hot and fast like a steak, then rested well before slicing.

George’s Tip for Cooking:
Season well with salt, pepper, garlic, and a little rosemary. Cook over high heat until nicely browned on the outside and still slightly pink inside, then rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing across the grain.
